History

The SAGE is the most emerging group of Engineering, Real state, Power & Media companies in central India. It serves in the area of engineering education as a prime duty. It is working by the name of Sagar Group of Institutions (SGI) in the education sector. The Sagar Institute of Research & Technology (SIRT) is the first Institution of SGI.The institute was established in the year 2003. The institute is recognized by AICTE, Bhopal and affiliated to RGPV (Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavivdyalaya).The Group also consists of number of sister colleges including SIRT, SIRT-S, SIRT-E, and SIRT-Indore SIRT Bhopal has also received ISO certification: 9000-2001 in 2003, NBA Accreditation in 2009, 2014 and 2016. Admission Process

Students can get admissions in various engineering colleges through competitive exams held by various recognized societies on national and state level such as JEE main, JEE advanced, GATE, BITSAT, VITEEE, IIIT Delhi, MHTCET, NATA, IISER, SET, JAYPEE in various institutes all over India. But for many reasons all students are not able to appear in such examinations and they want admission in engineering stream. Such students have the facility of getting admissions directly even in top engineering colleges affiliated to AICTE. To get direct admissions in engineering colleges students must have cleared his +2 examination from any recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks (Average) in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Students who are eligible as per their +2 examination then they have an option to enroll themselves online in their respective state authority for example in Madhya Pradesh one can enroll on MP online portal. After registration he will get a chance to lock his choice of branch and colleges where he wants to study.
