SIRT (Sagar Institute Of Research and Technology) Engineering College is well known for the quality engineering education because it is known for the practical knowledge enhancements using laboratories. Nowadays every student wants to learn about the practical aspects of the subjects. Sagar engineering college is always want to give best to the students. To enhance the practical aspects of the students College is having many no of labs for the various stream of the students like a lab for the CSE, ME, CE, IT, EX, EC, Applied Science and many more.

Laboratory provides a venue for learning through experiments. All lab and faculty are dedicated to enhancing the practical skill of the students. The main objective is to clarify and specify learning objectives.

For the Computer Sc and Engineering/Information Technology graduates college provide major labs that are research lab with MATLAB, Operating system lab (Linux, UNIX, Windows) and distributed system, data structure and object-oriented analysis and design compiler design, software engineering, hardware lab, networking, & simulation lab, Java Lab, .Net Lab, database Management Lab, Oracle Lab, IBM rational Rose Lab, Minor Project Lab, Computer Graphics Lab and many more. )

For the Mechanical Engineering Students (ME) we provide various practical approach using the lab of Basic mechanical engineering lab, Thermodynamics heat and mass transfer, internal combustion engines, metal cutting, CNC, Fluid Mechanics, refrigeration and air conditioning, TOM/DOM, mechanical vibration, strength of materials, CAD/CAMCIM, research Lab, Automobile Engineering.

For the Electrical and Electronics Engineering students, we provide a wide range of practical exposure with the power system lab, computer-aided machine design, EMEC, control system, electrical, instrumentation and network analysis lab.

For Civil engineering students well-equipped lab of geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering, CMT Lab, environmental engineering, TOS lab engineering Geology, Strength of materials, fluid mechanics, basic civil engineering and advanced surveying labs.

For the electronics and communicational students get practical exposure using the wide range of practical approach on labs assign like basic electronics lab, digital circuits  and systems, digital electronics, logic design, Analog and design lab, microprocessors and microprocessor lab, TV and Radar Antenna lab, Wave propagation lab, optical communication, VLSI, major project lab.

For the Applied Science labs are used for the first year of all engineering students’ physics, engineering chemistry and language lab.
